About JoinBankOn.org

JoinBankOn.org is the online home for resource sharing, networking and information gathering for individuals affiliated with or interested in Bank On and other financial access initiatives that work to connect un- and underbanked individuals with low-cost, non-predatory financial products.

JoinBankOn.org was relaunched by CFED in partnership with the San Francisco Office of Financial Empowerment, the National League of Cities and the New America Foundation, with support from the U.S. Department of the Treasury. The site is managed by CFED. For questions or comments, please contact us here. JoinBankOn.org was originally created by the San Francisco Office of Financial Empowerment.

Registering for a JoinBankOn.org membership is simple and free. There are three types of membership:

  • General Member: These members can access most parts of the site and can contribute to Forum discussions, the site’s Resources section and News & Events.
  • Program Administrator: For people who currently administer Bank On programs. These members enjoy unrestricted access to the site, including the ability to edit their Bank On program detail page. To be granted Program Administrator status, users will need to provide information about the Bank On program they administer.
  • Guest: If you are not a registered member, you are welcome to use the site as a guest. While you will be able to access most sections of the website, you will not be able to contribute to Forum discussions or the site’s Resources section, upload News & Events or edit program detail pages. All other site features are accessible to guests.
